The Allentown Municipal Golf Course located at 3400 Tilghman Street, opened in 1952, is a 18 hole Championship golf course with greens to challenge even the serious golfer. The course underwent reconstruction in 1998 which included new greens with sculptured bunkers and two ponds. New tees were also built to provide better playing conditions. Fairway irrigation was installed in 2000. A.M.G.C. is coming off its best year ever and is a must play, you will not be disappointed. The course features a lighted driving range and a short game practice area with two additional practice putting greens. The course is not only challanging--it's fun. The New ProShop features the Callaway, Taylor Made, Mizuno, Nike, Srixon and Titleist golf products.
Recent improvements to the facility include total renovations to the bathrooms with showers. New carpet and paint for the clubhouse. Parking lot renovations to add 60 more spaces. 
Our special event tent which seats 150 people was relocated to offer a great view of the golf course. Call the Brew Works on the Green at 484-223-2020 to reserve it for your next event.

The Brew Works on the Green restaurant opened for business in Spring of 2009. They continue to do an outstanding job to offer a wide variety of food and drink. Daily and weekly specials for all customers are very popular. Outdoor seating is availiable on our covered patio every night. Hours are 6:30am till last call.   

As of May 2006, Jeffrey T. Wambold is the new manager of Golf Operations. Wambold brings experience as both a player and a pro and his enthusiasm for returning the public course to its position as one of the best in the Lehigh Valley.
